Paint what you Love

I simply love painting, from an early age I was always doodling or drawing with pencils, I am self taught with my parents not having the money to put me through art college, its the only lesson I actually enjoyed turning up for in school. I loved watercolours and acrylics to start with, I have since tried oils, which I was never into due to the drying time and being a little impatient. I love the vibrancy and how you can simply keep changing your painting over a few days, oils are great for allowing you to do this. I try and paint every day, there is still lots to learn and process but I love the challenge. I love to paint bright colours with energy and fun, capturing as much light and shadows as I can, from street scenes, little houses, coastal scenes and still life and interiors, my happy paintings I call them.
